Whaley House

Whaley House is within ten miles of Mission Valley. It is said to be one of the most haunted venues in the United States. Constructed in 1857, this former home is said to be haunted by the ghost of the Whaley family. 

Junipero Serra Museum

Those who want to learn more about the founding of San Diego will love the Junipero Serra Museum. Built in 1925, this museum is full of information and artifacts regarding the founding of the city of San Diego. This venue is located just outside of Mission Valley. Fairmount Park is a great place to see, too.
